Project Brief

Build a website to showcase Lavi's unique approach, which combines Ayurvedic principles, healthy habits, and user-friendly technology for lead generation and conversion for the platform.

What is Lavi?

Làvi is a meal planning platform for a modern family with a combined approach of clinical nutrition and Ayurveda.

Their philosophy is that personalisation of a meal planning is a loop of:
1) Diagnosis
2) Meal planning
3) Sourcing ingredients
4) Kitchen support

They aim to solve gut health issues which affect us on a day-to-day level affecting our mood, energy levels, productivity and long-term health and well being.

What was the reason behind starting the venture?

Deteriorating gut health is the biggest epidemic we are facing in the modern world, which leads to digestive conditions such as acidity, bloating and constipation, craving, eating disorders, allergies, intolerances and countless other symptoms. In the long run, these develop into deadly, chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Heart diseases, Alzheimer’s and Cancer (commonly referred to as the ‘Four Killers’).

The idea was to fix nutrition at its root: Diet of a person. An imbalanced diet causes nutrition deficiencies and health conditionsbecause root cause of all diseases is a person's diet.

Làvi aims to solve two widespread and intertwined, yet invisible problems – poor gut health and food and lifestyle habits of urban millennials.

They focus on three things to build their solution:

Ayurveda:
The recipes balance the subtle qualities of food — Rasapanchaka and Viruddha Ahaara, personalised to your Prakriti.

Modern nutrition:
The recipes feature macro and micro nutrient balance, food timing and right combinations to enhance bioavailability for proper absorption.

Culinary science:
our recipes combine taste, variety and food chemistry for wholesome eating. we strongly believe that food should touch our soul, bring back some childhood memories, satisfy cravings and uplift our moods.

What is the goal of the platform?

The goal is to build better food habits by making it easy to adopt. It is key to building a lasting healthy lifestyle.

So, after researching about the space, trying to build my understanding about this space and benchmarking with the competitors...
...I built user personas to get a better understanding and mapped out ideas that could address the problem...
...I sketched out ideas on the paper, built the wireframes to bring life to the concepts and worked on the execution of the final work...
